1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information handled through the Breckenvale website and related email communications. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that publish their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide. Your name, email address, message, and any other information you choose to include when you use the contact form or email us directly.
- Technical and security information. Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, and similar records generated when you use the website.
- Anti-abuse information. Cloudflare Turnstile evaluates browser and request signals to help distinguish people from automated abuse. Breckenvale does not send the contents of your contact-form fields to Turnstile for this purpose.
- Website performance analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to receive aggregate page-view and website-performance metrics. We do not use those analytics for behavioral advertising or cross-site profiling.
To enforce short-term submission limits, the website converts an IP address into a keyed, pseudonymous value and stores that value temporarily. The raw IP address is not stored in Breckenvale's rate-limit database.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
- operate, maintain, and improve the website;
- prevent spam, fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
- comply with law and protect rights, safety, and property; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website and communications, including hosting and infrastructure providers, Cloudflare for website delivery, security, Turnstile, and website analytics, and Resend for email delivery. These providers process information under their own contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Breckenvale does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for security, availability, and core functionality. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used for aggregate page-view and performance measurement and is not used by Breckenvale for behavioral advertising. Breckenvale does not currently use advertising cookies or operate a behavioral advertising program on this website. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
For more information about these technologies and the controls available to you, see our Cookie Notice.
6. Retention
We retain contact correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including follow-up, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Short-term rate-limit records expire after their anti-abuse window. Service providers may retain information according to their agreements, policies, and legal requirements.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or a copy, or objecting to or restricting certain processing. To make a request, email us at contact@breckenvale.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information where permitted or required by law.
9. Children's privacy
This website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
10. Processing in the United States
Breckenvale and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
12. Contact us
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to contact@breckenvale.com.
